T1W2 Journal Writing : Earth Hour

Earth Hour is an annual international event created by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund), held on the last Saturday of March, that asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action. Based on an idea successfully executed in Thailand in 2005, it was pioneered by WWF Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007,[1] and achieved worldwide participation in 2008.
Earth Hour will next take place on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 8:30 pm, local time.

T1 W8 Journal Writing : Reading

I like to read whenever the book is interesting, one of the best books that i have read was Artemis Fowl. The story is about the criminal mastermind behind the whole situation. The mastermind was extirmly clever, he did not left any clue of what bad things that he had done. The police always caught the wrong person. Soon the police spy at people who are suspicious and installed many CCTV cameras around the country. The matermind was soon found after 5years of investigating. The mastermind knew earlier that the cops knew that he was behind all those criminal and illegal things, so he decided to leave the country. But the only thing he did not know is that he was spyed by the cops very single thing that he did was taken down on a video camera to show the evidance.Theres more! just read the book!

Places Of Interest In Singapore

SENTOSA

Sentosa is a area selected for the construction of Fort Siloso was at the western point of Blakang Mati. Lt. H.E. McCallum, Royal Engineers and a workforce comprising of local people began preparing the site for Fort Siloso in 1874. British, in the days of Queen Victoria, came to Singapore to take advantage of its strategic location to enhance their trade with China. This location would give the new fort a commanding position at the western entrance to Keppel Harbour. The western approach to the harbour is said to had been 'discovered' in 1848 by Admiral Sir Henry Keppel sailing in HMS Meander. There is, however, extremely good evidence that this entrance was known of by the seamen of the east for a significant period of time before Admiral Keppel came on the scene
